March 30

Study for the poetry unit test on Wednesday. While you are reviewing, check out the glossary at the back of the book -- you should know all the terms. If you haven't already done so, finish Crime & Punishment by Friday. We like to keep it light.

Checking the blog on a whim last night (technically "this morning"?) sure turned out to be a good idea.
Memorizing the glossary was a fine way to study, since "make sure you know all of [the poetry terms in the glossary]" sure wasn't an exaggeration. "Caesura," in particular, came in handy.

I wish that "anaphora" had been in the glossary, though. Had to really scour my mental filing cabinet to remember that from when it was casually mentioned so many classes ago.
it's just repetition of beginnings lol
