The Triumvirate welcomes you!
"The term triumvirate (from Latin, "of three men") is commonly used to describe a political regime dominated by three powerful individuals" (Wiki).
Yay, a vocab quiz! I'm so excited! I hope i get to pass them out...man, that would be a dream come true. I can not wait for tomarrow. Wow, I can't beleive this is actually happening, I mean, I knew it was coming but...this is just crazy. Okay, okay, I'm going to try and calm down and go to sleep.
I was really let down today when it was announced that the quiz would be moved to Monday. This is an outrage. I feel like I've had my heart ripped out and fed to me through a straw, because my jaw was too lax from the impossibility of the situation to manage chewing. How could this have happened? I've been shoved from the mountain of my dreams, mere minutes before reaching the summit, and even now I plumet into the trecherous crags of despair at having to suspend the assessment of my learning. Oh how the tables have turned for the worse! Rock bottom can be no harder than the tiled floor which rushes for my face as the carpet of my hopes is pulled from beneath me. Even as the fulfilment of my aspirations to write out a documented record of my knowledge of drama and form vocabulary manifested before me, they were at once and all too easily swatted aside with a flourish of Mr. Duncan's hand. He waved away my dreams on a whim, as a man might wave away an insect. Is my desire to take a simple quiz so inconsequential as to be dismissed on a thought? Banished on the fanciful imagining that a favor is being granted?
Oh well...I guess there is nothing for it but to wait 'till Monday. Have a nice weekend!
